Former Minot State offensive lineman Sebastian Gutierrez has signed with the Dallas Cowboys, adding depth to the team’s offensive line during training camp.

Gutierrez, who played at the Division II level for Minot State, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He has since spent time with several organizations, including the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, Las Vegas Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis Colts.

The Cowboys signed Gutierrez after waiving/injured edge rusher Charles Snowden. Gutierrez has appeared in NFL regular-season action but has played only two offensive snaps as he continues to compete for a roster spot and additional opportunities in Dallas.

In his time at Minot, Gutierrez played 42 games over 3 seasons for the Beavers, starting every game his redshirt sophomore season onward. He was named an all-american in 2021
